Apparently, there is an organized meta-theory involving innovation adoption:
Diffusion Theory!
Diffusion theory posits that individuals fall into one of five categories: innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority and laggards. I know that I probably fall within the 16% of innovators/early adopters. Where do you fall in the bell curve of adoption?
The adoption rate resembles an S-curve as follows. Which side of the curve do you find yourself when considering innovation?
